MPPSC SFS Prelims Exam Pattern:
The first round of the MPPSC Forest Service Exam involves a Prelims Exam, this is divided into 2 parts- Paper-1 and Paper-2. The MPPSC SFS prelims exams will be conducted on OMR sheets. There is no negative marking scheme for the preliminary round. Each paper is of 200 marks.

The candidates are awarded marks only for Paper 1 i.e. General Studies.
- For Paper 2, candidates have to attain a minimum of 40% marks for the general category and 30% marks for SC/ST category of MP to get selected for mains examination.
MPPSC FS Mains Exam Pattern:
The candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks and the cut off marks will be qualified for the MPPSC Forest Service Examination. The MPPSC SFS mains exams will be conducted online. The details of the examination are given below:
- The exam will be divided into 2 parts, A & B
- Both the parts will be of 200 marks each.
- Each question carries 2 marks.
- There will be no negative marking.
- All Candidates will have to attain the minimum qualifying marks to pass i.e. 40% Marks for General Category and 30% Marks for SC/ ST Candidates of MP Domicile.

Interview:
The MPPSC SFS interview round is conducted for 50 marks. Candidates who qualify the prelims exam and the mains exam will be promoted for the Interview round. The candidates must be prepared with the basics of the subjects and have general awareness to pass this round. The final selection of the candidate will be based upon his/her merit.
Physical Standard Test/ Physical Measurement Test
Candidates must satisfy the Physical Standard Test to be eligible to be a part of the recruitment process. The measurements are different for male and female candidates. Check the table below to know more!
